Sephora August 2025 Beauty Haul: Top Lip Balms & Body Scrubs
Hello, Gorgeous! My entire beauty routine is getting a major makeover this month, and I couldn’t be more excited to share my latest Sephora haul with you. If you’re like me and love discovering new products that actually work, you’re going to want to bookmark this post. I’ve been testing these beauties for weeks, and I’m finally ready to spill all the details on what’s earned a permanent spot in my daily routine.

Lip Care by Laneige & Saie: Beautiful Natural Looking Hydrated Lips
Let’s start with lips because, that’s where I spend most of my beauty budget. I was on the hunt for something oily, easy, and slightly tinted that I could wear every single day at home. You know that gorgeous natural look when your lips just have a hint of oil or balm? That’s exactly what I was chasing, especially since I’ve gotten a bit more tan from my recent beach trips.
After trying multiple formulas, I’ve fallen head over heels for Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask in Sweet Candy. I also picked up Gummy Bear, but Sweet Candy is absolutely taking the crown. There was actually a blueberry flavor I was seriously considering, but I’m planning to invest in the full-size jar of Sweet Candy because the results speak for themselves.
Here’s the thing about this product – I first discovered it at the Grove pop-up, and it was in completely different packaging (a blue container with a swirl pattern inside). I searched everywhere for it, even on Sephora’s website, and couldn’t find it anywhere. Turns out, they repackaged it into this pink container, and I’m honestly not sure if the original was limited edition or if they just did a rebrand.

I’ve also been eyeing the Laneige Glowy Lip Balm in the tinted versions, and while I love the formula (I tested it extensively at Sephora), I’m not completely sold on the applicator. The tinted versions have these round, flat applicators instead of the slanted ones I prefer. It reminds me of those Victoria’s Secret lip glosses from way back when I was thirteen – nostalgic but not necessarily practical.
For my daily lip routine, I’m absolutely obsessed with Saie Beauty Lip Gloss in “Dip.” I also have “Bounce,” but Dip has this perfect fleshy tone that works beautifully with my current skin tone. Bounce leans more coral-pink, which is lovely but not quite as versatile for everyday wear.
Steal my lip lift technique!
I line just my upper lip because I feel like it doesn’t hold its shape well with just oil or gloss. The way light catches an unlined lip can make it appear smaller, so I line all the way across the top and just slightly at the corners of the bottom middle, creating a subtle lift effect. It’s more youthful than the overdone “trout mouth” look, and it’s been my go-to technique for years now.
Westman Atelier Contour Stick: Easy To Travel With, Application, & Stunning On My Skin!
Now let’s talk about the holy grail product that’s completely transformed my makeup routine: the Westman Atelier Face Trace Contour Stick in Biscuit. I deliberately bought the travel size first because this line is an investment, and I wanted to test the formula before committing to full sizes.
I’ve been a Westman Atelier devotee for years, ever since I learned Gucci Westman’s approach to makeup application. Her philosophy isn’t about covering and painting your entire face – it’s about loving yourself while defining your features without completely hiding them. This method has completely changed how I approach makeup, and it’s what I still use today.
The pigment in this contour stick is incredible. It blends seamlessly with my skin, and I love how it reads and adapts to your natural coloring. It’s more like a skincare serum than traditional makeup – gentle, natural, and buildable.
I’m planning an entire Westman Atelier haul soon because my current makeup collection is getting old and honestly needs a complete refresh. The problem I’m facing is finding my perfect foundation shade without having to mix two different colors. For stick foundation, I’m actually planning to go with Dior because they’ve absolutely nailed my color match, but for everything else, Westman Atelier is my brand.
Color Wow Dream Coat Supernatural Spray: Shiny Hair, Heat Protection, & Blowout Fabulosity
Moving on to hair care – I’ve been experimenting with the Color Wow Dream Coat Supernatural Spray, starting with the mini size because I’m commitment-phobic when it comes to hair products. At $12 for the travel size, it was the perfect way to test the waters.
This product is exactly what I hoped it would be. It’s a true mist – not one of those “sprays” that splatter all over your hair. The application is smooth and even, and it doesn’t have that overwhelming chemical smell that so many hair products have. You know the ones I’m talking about – harsh chemicals with a desperate dash of floral scent on top.
My routine with this has been game-changing: I spray it generously on towel-dried hair, brush it through thoroughly, then blow dry very lightly. The key is making sure your ends are completely dry before blow-drying to prevent frizz. The results look like I just left a salon with a $70 treatment.

Body Care Essentials: The Scrub Showdown
I’ve been absolutely obsessed with body scrubs lately, and I’ve been doing some serious comparison testing. My current favorites are the First Aid Beauty KP Bump Eraser Body Scrub (in the gorgeous peach scent), Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Brightening Scrub and the Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Scrub.
I literally did a side-by-side test – KP scrub on my left thigh, Sol de Janeiro on my right. Both are incredible, but they serve different purposes. The KP scrub is specifically formulated for keratosis pilaris (those little bumps), and while it’s effective, it’s not as moisturizing as the Sol de Janeiro option.
The Sol de Janeiro scrubs smell absolutely divine – like walking through a department store perfume section and collecting samples. It’s that perfect “clean girl” fragrance that makes you feel fabulous. The original Bum Bum scrub has a stronger scent, while their brightening version is more subtle and focused on skincare benefits.
Smart Mouth Toothpaste: Non-Alcoholic Fresh Breath Toothpaste
Finally, let’s talk about something we often overlook – oral care. I’ve been a die-hard Marvis user for years, but after doing some research about alcohol in toothpaste and mouthwash, I decided to make a switch to Smart Mouth Toothpaste.
Alcohol in oral care products can actually make your mouth drier, and when your mouth is dry, bacteria thrives, leading to bad breath. It’s similar to how alcohol dehydrates your skin and muscles. Smart Mouth is alcohol-free, anti-cavity, and contains fluoride (which, despite some controversy, is beneficial for dental health).
The best part? You get 6 oz for the same price as a 3.4 oz tube of Marvis. It’s better value and better for your oral health – a complete win-win.
The Takeaway
This month’s beauty refresh has been all about finding products that work with my natural features rather than against them. From the perfect lip balm that enhances rather than masks, to contour that defines without overdoing, to hair and body products that actually deliver on their promises – every single item has earned its place through real results.
What I love most about this current routine is how sustainable and effortless it feels. These aren’t products that require complicated techniques or multiple steps. They’re designed for those of us who want luxury results with minimal effort, and honestly, that’s exactly what I needed in my life right now.
Are you ready to refresh your routine? Let me know in the comments which of these products you’re most excited to try.
