What Is the Summer Fridays Pink Dew Gel Cleanser?
The Pink Dew Gel Cleanser is a pH-balanced facial cleanser formulated to cleanse the skin without disrupting moisture levels. Unlike traditional foaming cleansers that can feel drying, this one delivers a soft, airy lather that refreshes the skin while keeping it comfortable and hydrated.
It’s suitable for all skin types, including sensitive, combination, oily, and acne-prone skin, making it a versatile option for both morning and evening routines.
Key Benefits of the Pink Dew Gel Cleanser

Together, these ingredients support a healthy skin barrier while delivering a comfortable cleanse.
Ideal for Sensitive and Acne-Prone Skin

What Makes This Cleanser Stand Out
What sets the Summer Fridays Pink Dew Gel Cleanser apart is its focus on hydration. Many gel cleansers prioritize oil control at the expense of skin comfort, but this one strikes a balance between effective cleansing and moisture retention.
It’s especially well-suited for:
- Minimal, glow-focused skincare routines
- Skin that feels tight or dry after cleansing
- Pairing with exfoliants, retinoids, or brightening treatments
The availability of a mini size also makes it easy to try before committing to the full size.
How to Use the Pink Dew Gel Cleanser
Apply a small amount to damp skin and work into a light foam. Massage gently over the face, then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Follow with toner, serum, and moisturizer. Suitable for use morning and night.
My First Impression
At first, I was disappointed with the packaging, because the colour reminded me of your skin when it is swollen right before a welt turns into a bruise. I laugh as I write this, but the brick colour always makes me feel sick to look at. It’s such a weird thing.
Summer Fridays was created by two influencers who based their marketing around aesthetics, being easy to read and post about – which is absolutely brilliant. However, I feel like they should have gone deeper, cooler, or lighter instead of this weird in between hue. Not important. But this was my genuine initial thought.
The shape was also interesting because it is flat. It felt on the smaller side, but it’s not – you will find out why in a bit. The figure of this cleanser is perfect for storage when you think about it, creating more room for not only aesthetic organisation but also letting there be more room to breathe on your vanity or shower ledges.
My Experience
I was skeptical about using it, because I had their other cleanser – the Super Amino Gel Cleanser years ago. It was not bad, but I never purchased it again. It felt expensive for what it was: product that literally goes down the drain. HOWEVER, I think this new Pink Dew Gel Cleanser actually redeemed Summer Fridays!
The Verdict
To preface, my skin type is normal. When I do not take care of my largest organ, it leans on the dry side.
The first time I used it, I was deeply and thoroughly impressed! It is so thick and you can really feel a little going a long way. To start with, I squeezed out the typical amount I would with any cleanser and this was so rich that I took out too much. My face was lathered and covered in a light foam from this thick gel formula that made me feel squeaky clean. Without stripping my skin, of course. I am always thrilled when a product delivers what it says and more, because I have been disappointed countless times.
This definitely overdelivered.
It was hydrating and nourishing without feeling heavy. I would, without a doubt, buy this again. I have only used it four times so far, but my mind is made up by this cleanser.
My routine might look different than yours when it comes to removing makeup.
Please keep this in mind. I use CALA makeup remover wipes. This is a Korean brand – gentle yet high-impact. Then, I wash the rest of the matter off my face, so it really helps exfoliate my visage and make me feel super clean and hydrated without it feeling sticky or oilly.
I do not remember there being a remarkable scent, but according to the Summer Fridays website, there is one. Otherwise, it is light and subtle enough to not notice. This has my full approval and I am starting to warm up to the packaging. It is cuter, because I know it is effective and that makes me appreciate it more. Am I weird for that? 😅
Is the Summer Fridays Pink Dew Gel Cleanser Worth It?
If your goal is clean, hydrated, and balanced skin, the Pink Dew Gel Cleanser is a strong everyday option. It’s not designed for aggressive makeup removal, but it excels as a gentle, skin-friendly cleanser that supports the barrier and leaves skin soft and refreshed.
For sensitive skin types or anyone building a polished, low-irritation routine, this cleanser is absolutely worth considering. My skin type is normal skin on the verge of combination skin, so if this has been on your mind, it is worth taking the time to at least try it.
