Moving into my dream apartment on my birthday & leaving himĀ
Hello, Gorgeous!
I left him. 3 times. In one week.
Fed up with our living situation, I left him temporarily.
This was how February ended as I was already on my way to a new life after I acquired my dream apartment all on my own.
Our plans changed and bifurcations of paths appeared to adjust our trajectories.
I was fine with that. So much has changed as I have grown into a newer version of my old self before meeting him, because I found myself again.

I needed him and still do. This is not the end.
Our souls are tied together forever, and we plan on moving back in together.

I need some space to think.
Nothing is actually wrong in our relationship.
It was fabulous. What we had.
The time has come for me to make the moves I have been wanting to and he is coming, just on a different timeline.

Making myself scarce on the internet during this time has helped me to take action.
I have built a luxurious life offline with countless visits to see friends, do fun things, and create a life beside him.
This time taken apart is simply to check in with myself to see if I can be alone and am not simply settling, because of my scarcity mindset I previously made a mistake of possessing.

Being the gallant gentleman Adam is, he agreed to let me have my space and step away.
I could not ask for a more honourable man who is patient and compassionate towards my wishes.

Of course it was difficult at first and fears filled our hearts.
But we still talk everyday as if we never left, see each other, and recognise the other is somewhere in the city looking at the same moon at night.

We are only a few streetlights away.
This apartment was something I wanted for a long time and worked so hard for.
It took me an entire month of nonstop work with only three separate days of rest to acquire this space.

His efforts everyday are out of pure love and I see his strength growing every minute we are apart.
It might sound odd and people will write songs saying
Space is just a word made up by someone who’s afraid to get close.

I left him three times the last week we were living together.
Our disagreements and pressure of all the changes got to us, but we are taking it day by day.
I do not usually post about my personal life so vividly about this unless it calls for a breakup.
But this is different.

He is special.
Originally, this blog post was about the same situation written differently.

But I turned it around to make it about the solution rather than the problem.
Since the living separation, we are finding solutions faster than ever to come back to each other.
Because our only desire is to make each other happy and make sure we are both fulfilled.
When you love someone, you sacrifice a little bit to be certain it is the right thing.

Time apart has only been three days, but it feels like two months.
We laugh when we miss each other, because it was a conscious decision.
A daunting one.
Obtaining the keys to my new spacious place was a matter of safety for the both of us and health.
Our preceding rental was infested with roaches and was the size of a shoebox. I was surprised we made it this long.
Closing the door when one has a conversation with friends and family whilst the other is on the phone working was among many of the challenges.

We still love each other.
I am cleansed of our issues and have been thinking clearer than recent years.
My goals have been more attuned than ever along with my health.
Not only hygiene from having a clean place that is not covered in scattering creatures all hours of the clock, but also mentally.

The love of my life is under a lot of stress and this was the time for me to give him space as well.
I could not be more grateful to such a well-raised principled man who wants the best for both of us.
He always shows up when I need him keeping his word and is one of those people who makes me feel exceptionally lucky.

In person I might make jokes, but at the end of the day, he is my hero.
There is no one else in particular I have my eye on except myself and Cashmere. There is so much to build in this social season, but I am starting from the ground up. However, everything I do is for myself now and it truly is what finance YouTubers would call building wealth.
No distractions. Simply freedom.
Yet he is still the only man for me.

I have never been more excited to be on my own doing what I want without interruption.
Lives are meant to be lived parallel and perpendicular on varying occasions.
I lost myself a bit focusing my world around him too much.
Being my best self means working on me first so I can show up as my best for him.

This is something I emphasise in The It Girl School, because I truly stand by it and live every word I utter.
Exemplifying my fullest potential is not a vacation and this is not the time to have a wandering eye.
This is a brief moment to realign my sights so I can focus on him harder the next time around. Keep both of us at peace for our future together.

We have no choice but to make things work, because we love each other too much. For this, I love him more than ever.
