Your default is regal: How to lift yourself from a rut
Hello, Gorgeous!
I can finally be my elegant classical self again.Â
Each facet of my life is curated to the point that it has predictability without forced structure. There are always a set of guidelines I set in place for anything I touch. Everything has a uniform.
Before the realisation of this renaissance period, I had an unstable partner who spat on my standards. It was a game of limbo where it was not all at once, but little by little. Once I was not isolated and had clear judgement, I found myself again.
For the first time in a while, I dressed up glamorously how I normally would. I bought food and went out with the ability to be generous with loved ones.Â
I felt out of balance because of various missing elements and alacrity for life.
Not having clothes you need and love makes a difference.
This is a priority for me, because I love expressing myself even when I am at home alone. I wear clean indoor heels and silk clothes at home with tea nearby. Having these minute luxuries make me feel like a girl taken care of by her mother.Â
When I have nothing appropriate to wear to make me feel like a princess, I stop acting like one. I work on the characteristics of a princess–kind, gracious, and hospitable. You do not have to be one, but simply live and be like one.
In other words, it activates my soft life tendencies simply by outfitting this way. Well made clothes and a tailor got me back into the grove of feeling like my regular self.
Whether she was in cycling shorts and a sweatshirt, she was still Princess Diana. However you feel your best self at home is the way things should be. Your default is regal.Â

Not having a comfortable home makes me feel unsettled.Â
The more effort I put into having an elegant home not only makes me feel responsible but take better care of myself. This bleeds into the action towards others when they stay for a while or when I step out into the world.
For a while, I thought I could pull off having only necessary items, but the moment I laid a printed washable rug on the floor, I felt a touch more complete. Accessible, calming, and comforting.
The ease of a room makes me stand and sit taller when nobody is around.
The right people will make you shine.
They will remind you of who you are before you do.
You are memorable for a reason and affect the lives of everyone around you. Everyone is special and has something to offer including you. When you go quiet, people notice. If something is off, whispers begin. Help will be on the way when you show your face.
Currently there is only one person in my life amongst my loved ones I have not known for years, but he naturally fits into our lives with his contagious bright smile and golden retriever energy to my black cat behaviour. And social circle.
Everywhere you turn, you should be inspired to smile.Â
I did not strike the monetary lottery.
I cut off the chains that dragged me down and came back to the way I was before they found their way onto me. It welcomed back the old life I had before where I could breathe freely and make decisions for myself versus another person who had to approve all movements.
Being my classical self was without ridicule this time. It feels cohesive where everyone in my life understands my silly jokes without translation, dances with me leading in step, and dressing up without question.
With all my traditions back in place my life feels extraordinarily full.
Every woman deserves her renaissance.
