The last time I felt this way was when I would sit down for hours chatting with my family around midnight.

I am trying to keep one foot on the ground as I form these thoughts without giving details away. But I think you catch my drift, because you are brilliant when it comes to decoding my illustration.  

When finding a love for a period or the love of your life, you are not promised a thing but are reassured in hope. 

This time is different because he built it for me. But it feels like we are gently shaping this meaningfully together. A first I have never felt without exerting force. 

Here is the most unexpected tenderness a woman should recognise and never forget.

Dropping my guard, someone made sure to catch my attention.

Not as an obnoxious attempt, but in a way that a man would pass by saying hello from their heart. Their eyes linger for a bit whilst assessing timing to approach. Without overthinking. 

You feel this person’s warmth without overbearing demand and they have insanely beautiful eyes. Trusting them, you see values in common. He is already impressive but does not need to prove a thing. 

At first you are admired. Then you are valued. 

Your time, point of view, and hopefully future with them. 

Zooming out to watch events unfold, someone new stepped into your life who is from the same culture and laughs at all your jokes without performing. 

This is the first sign you can be yourself. 

Fire is burning yet controlled. 

Passion is there but it is a steady flame that keeps you warm all throughout the hours. 

At times it burns blue, then goes back to its original state. 

With its stable blaze, you are nurtured, fed, and have light to see. 

Within this passion there is peace above all. 

He started a fire for you both to embrace and feel soothed by emotional safety. The steady burn he created makes you forget all your pain. You do not say this to scare him away, so you enjoy the warmth.

A veiled attempt at allegory

I met someone I adore and can be proud of everyday. 

He could meet my parents and they would smile that I finally found someone they approve of. Technically speaking, everyone I meet is someone my loved ones are proud of. But he stands out in particular, because I can relax. 

Record your progress even if it is early.

It has always been important for me to remember every step of the journey with a sense of privacy. 

I love looking back at details I may have missed or forgotten.

Delayed posts are my friend because I never tell anyone my whereabouts in real time for safety reasons.

However, I always kept an account for myself and beat me up for not ever sharing in the first or last place. It becomes forgotten to enjoy the moment in words or visuals.  

But because of this little note–I can finally step away from the notes in this chronicle and enjoy other parts of my life. 

Going with the flow is hard when you want it all. This is why I live such a full life that sometimes I forget to share about it. On this occasion, I intend to keep these recountings as current as possible.
